hai my name is karunakar and i have done BS(computer science) and presently want to go for MBA. I am intrested to do a programmer job after my MBA. I am planning to write sun certifications to boost my job oppurtunities . do u think tht certification wld help me to get a decent job . is a master's degree a must to get a decent programming job . plz do reply to this query.
Programmers do not need MBAs. I don't know anyone who has an MBA and is a programmer. They're really apples and oranges. I am a big proponent of developers getting business skills, but an MBA is a waste of time and money for programming jobs. --Mark
Hi, I don't know your base. But in US if your profile come up in during the HR screening process, you will be deemed as disillusion. MBA counterpart is MS which deals with managerial issues more than coding issues which handle by programmers. As Mark said don't waste your money. Regards, MCao
you probably wont get acceptted into any MBA program anyway with a BSc and no BCom unless u have more than 2 years of proven commercial experience with a major company
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
