Migration to UNIX from NT

I have a Java applicatin running on an NT platform. I want to run the same application on a UNIX machine. can anyone giude me doing it. I'm completely new to UNIX systems...

Your only problem will probably be installing a comparable JDK on the UNIX machine. That is, unless you have used windows specific hard coded file paths using "\".
