Hi
Im totally new to JSP. I deployed a chat program based application as the server and applet as the client with RMI distribute method.
Can I write out graphics classes like Jbutton as I retrieve the Data to the browser?
Thanks

Hi
My understanding is that jsp processing is all server side, ie nothing runs in the browser. The answer is no Im afraid.
Although, the main idea with the server side stuff is too reduce the demands in the data being transmitted and manipulated over a network. Sending JButtons and all the event handling etc would be very expensive. Use the jsp to process and return html/javascript.
Hope this helps
