C:\Blazix\jspdir\providend\reportexplorer_jsp.java:29: cannot resolve symbol
symbol : variable out
location: class desisoft_jsp_reportexplorer_jsp1011698723344
out.println("");

I'm very confused. Maybe I'm completely misunderstanding what you are saying (not too unlikely, I'm pretty tired), but this doesn't seem possible.
Can you post the relevant piece of code for us to have a look? (ie just the loop part, not the whole thing)
ta,
Dave.

"saintmacai",
The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp .
We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please re-register and select a new name which meets the requirements.
Thanks.
Dave
