Could anyone give me an example of some big internet sites that is using primarily jsps for the view?

There are hundreds of big sites using JSP's. Go to either IBM or BEA's web site and look at the customer testimonials.

...And the grandaddy of them all! Amazon.com was (last I heard) using WebLogic Commerce Server. You won't see the "JSP" extension on their URLs, but thats because WLCS is using an MVC paradigm where the actual references go through a routing system.

Of course www.ba.com ( the site I work on) also uses JSPs ....

Right under my nose and didn't realize it. My companys(IBM) intranet uses jsps. Last month averaged 15 million hits a day.
