Hi friends
I want to upload a file from remote pc to server
and than want to save it to a database ..
can any one tell me which datatype we should use in oracle 8i to save files ...files can be any type means word ...or more

Blob or Binary Large Object. This will hold a File of any type. Text, Gif etc.
