Javascript confirmation message will pop-up the message giving the user the option "OK" and "Cancel". The requirement in my project is such that confirmation message should display the "Yes" and "No" as the options for the User.
Could anyone plz help me out.
Thanx in advance.

Unfortunately you can't change the javaScript ok/cancel buttons to yes/no. Try the JavaScript or HTML forums. They may have better solutions for you there.

Rather than using javascript's built in dialogue box, use a new small sized browser window with your message (and other html stuffs to make it pretty)and necessary controls. Use javascript for event handling. You can write down the page using javascript as well, if you dont want to send another requst to the server. The only problem is, the dialogue box will not be modal.
Hope it helps.

Here's a very slick idea I've implemented in the past...Javascript dialog boxes with some VBScript mixed in there...
Here's an automated tool that will help you create the script
Couldn't resist.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
