When a JSP uses a java bean where is the link between the two is defined??

You will find it instructive to look at the actual Java code produced by the JSP engine for a use:bean tag. Locate the code that constructs and stores the bean object.

jsp:usebean tag is used to give the class name of the javabean to pickup.
