I saw more job postings in monster.com for Java.
Is this a real recover?

I see that as well. But to be an indication of the beginning of a recovery I'd have to see it consistent for a while.
I just got a call from a recruiter. As it's my last day tomorrow since my contract came to an end, it was nice to have that. If anything, it might be another indication that things could be improving. I'll be speaking with him tonight, so far I have no idea what he's looking for or how much he knows about me.

You might wish to rephrase that. "it's my last day tomorrow since my contract came to an end" sounds like you're getting set for something desperate....

statement 'It's my last day tomorrow'
reason: 'since my contract came to an end'
Sounded like a suicide note to me!

I've seen postings peak and then fall back several times over the last 6 months or so.
OTOH, I made the joke long ago that recessions seem to get declared as having started in the month I get laid off and continuing until someone hires me. Since I got hired this week, we'll just have to wait and see.
Of course, Pres. Bush will say it's the tax credit that turned the economy around, but we'll know better!

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.
