I am in Vancouver right now and the java job market here is totally dry. I am planning to move from here. Is the java job market in Toronto better? . Which place has more java jobs Calgary or Toronto?

Have you thought about Atlantic Canada? Java developpers are hard to come by in this area so it might actually be easier for you to get a job here, depending on your experience. Have a look at www.careerbeacon.com for job postings.
