I have an application web in development using JSP + Servlets in a Resin 2.1.4 integrated with the Apache 1.3.26 + J2SDK 1.4, everything turning on SuSE Linux 7.2. The application accesses a database Oracle 9i remote R1 and sometimes during the execution of some heavier routines I obtain the error message
of Exausted ResultSet. What can cause this? Which the solution for the problem?
I thank for the help

this seems to be an oracle specific problem try. You are probably doing something like:
ResultSet result = select.executeQuery(
"select * from employee where id = 'employeeID' ");
try this
ResultSet result = select.executeQuery("select * from employee where id = '"+employeeID+"' ");
or (my preference) a PreparedStatement:
PreparedStatement s = select.prepareStatement("select * from employee where id =?");
s.setInt(employeeID);
ResultSet result = s.executeQuery();

Hi! I think that this exception usually occurs when u have taken the values from a ResultSet & try to do it again.Check how u r reteiving the values from the ResultSet.
