Does anyone know an easy way to show the URL of the current JSP in the history bar instead of the URL of the originating servlet when you use the forward(urlString) method of RequestDispatcher?
All the pages and servlets are on the same server so I don't want to use redirect(urlString), and there are dozens of JSPs so I don't want to set aliases for all of them in the webserver config.
Any ideas? I've searched a good many resources and I can't find a clear answer other than the undesirable ones I mentioned.
Thanks in advance,
E
