input field in JSP not displaying entire text.

I have an text input field in a JSP that gets a
string from a JavaBean. When the code is ran in the debugger the value that is being returned is not what is being displayed in the text field. My string is "My Unit ID" and the input field only shows "My". It seems that it is stopping on the first space in the string.
I have tried several methods to get the value from the bean with the same results:

Any clues as to what I am doing wrong?

I should note that if the text being displayed is just regular text on the JSP the entire string is displayed. It is only failing when trying to put the text into an input field.

My bad!
After taking the time to search a little more extensively I found the answer.
The fix was to add single quotes on the VALUE= attribute.
