JSP - Tomcat related issue

Hi,
Can anyone interpret the error message -
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: ta.PositionBean.setHrs(Ljava/lang/String V

I am retrieving data in jsp page from PositionBean.java thus:
position.setHrs( rs.getString( "HRS" ) );
The declarations, directory structure, etc. are just fine, since I have several field values retrieved above this one, which work correctly. its only when I try to recover this variable in the Bean (obtained from the Oracle database table POSITIONS) that it crashes.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Saket

1. post the full error message.
2. post your code. what is rs?
3. post the code of the bean object.

Thanks for the reply Asher.
All I did was shut down and restarted tomcat. Somehow the error just vanished!
