change_frames and request.getParameter

Hi (a little more narrow-chested),
(don�t know, if this is the right forum?!)
I don�t come over with this problem, maybe javascript�s change_frames can�t handle giving over a selected value to two jsp�s similarly ?
in a dropdown-menu (nav3.jsp) I select a value from a database. Via onchange and function change_frames the selection should be sent to two jsp�s (theme.jsp, statement.jsp) in two separate frames, where it might be recognized by the request.getParameter -method. Unfortunately it does not

Is there a mistake or do you have other solutions ?
