How do you measure the 'sharpness' of iText to create pdf files??? do you think it is reliable??? I need to create reports with some precison, do you think that if I create them using this api, they will be good???

iText is good. Also you can try xsl:fo with apache fop. THe problem is that once the company wahts pdf, the next day they would want RTF or excel. And in that case xsl:fo is a better solution.

whre can I learn xsl??? do you know about any free tutorial??? is it difficult to learn?

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
