JSP Code :
------
<%@ page buffer="8k" %>
....
<% int bufferSize = out.getBufferSize(); %>
Buffer Size : <%= bufferSize %>

Output :
---------
Buffer Size : 12264

J2EE JavaDocs API:
---------------
From : javax\servlet\jsp\JspWriter.html#getBufferSize()
getBufferSize
public int getBufferSize()
This method returns the size of the buffer used by the JspWriter.
Returns:
the size of the buffer in bytes, or 0 is unbuffered.

Question:
---------
How is the calculation done ? I mean how do you link 8k with 12264 ?

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
