:include, can anyone explain with examples.

jsp:include only includes the response from the included reference, nothing else.

Also, generally speaking, the tags in your taglib should not be application specific (e.g. they can be reused in other applications).

Do u mean that i should not use custom tags to isolate the reusable code, taht is specific to that particular application?
It would be more useful, if u can explain with examples, when to use JSP-include/ taglibs and when not to...
