Hi all,
I am trying to use the c:import tag, i have set up the configuration in tomcat 4.0.3 with whatever instructions the JSTL said.
Here is the jsp code:
<%@ page import="java.net.*" %>
<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>
<c:import url="http://www.google.com" />
Basically i want to access the files from different servers and machines in my JSP . jsp:include only looks files inside the web application context directory. so I used c:import for this. i tried a small example and it is not working.
It throws the following error when i run this:
Not sure what is missing, please let me know what is causing this error.

If anyone know whats the problem, please let me know.
Thanks,
Priyha

I put exactly those lines into my JSP and don't get that error. I get a Google page (with the graphics missing).

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
