Friends,
We have been asked to use "https" in our application. We are using WAS 5.0.
i am sure that, using https does not make any impact on the coding part meaning, the JSP/Servlet coding will be same for http or https. ( please confirm the same)
I think, we need to make some changes in WAS configuration. Please advise, what are the things I need to consider keeping in view of https.

You are correct that the JSP/Servlet coding will be the same.
You can make the changes in the WAS admin console dialog boxes. The IBM redbook manual contains detailed instructions and examples.
