Browser bug?

Hi . I have written a web applicaton using Struts and JSP.The application is actaually a portal and among the features there is a look and feel feature: basically the user can specify the CSS style, background colors and other options.
These characteristics are stored in a database and they are read from it at user logon. They are then stored in the session object.
The web application works fine when using IE. For example I can open two different sessions by login as two different users on the same computer.
The problem is that netscape 7.1 ad also mozilla do not behave the same way. When I open 2 different sessions (logging as 2 different users with different look and feel options stored into database, in 2 diferent browser instances) I get the only one same look and feel. Specifically the LAST LOGGED ON USERS's look and feel options are displaying in both browsers now.It is as if the web sever somehow sees the 2 Netscape instances as a single one and I actually only have a single session object shared between the two browsers.I am now checking to see if I have any instance vars in the Struts action classes but I do not think so, because this problem would have shown in the IE case too.
Any ideas? What should I look for?
Alex
