Cannot resolve symbol

Hi guys..I m creating my first ever custom tag so need help from u all..!
I have put my tag handler class ine /WEB-INF/classes folder.
My tld file is kept in /WEB-INF folder.
I m posting my tld file code as below:

My web.xml code is as below:

My jsp code is as below:


pls check out my code n point if ne error..neways now when i execute my jsp on the browser..
I m getting the error as :
cannot resolve symbol : helloworldtag.class
i.e., class is not found..
Hoping for many replies of my IT techies.

is your class called helloworldtag.class with that exact capitalisation? are you sure it isn't in a package? if its in a package you need to recreate the package directories within the classes folder.

And some containers have a problem with package-less classes. It'd be best to put your classes into a package structure.
