output Oracle JServ version dynamically

Hello, All
I'd like to display the current version of the installed JServ container
in a JSP.
I've gotten this far:
Object objJServ = new org.apache.jserv.JServ();

...but when I try this:
objJServ.version();
I get a No Method Found error.
I looked in the JServ javadocs for my version, and it says that the version method is implemented as a method in the JServ() class.
How can I call the version() method so that it works?
Thanx in advance for all who reply,
deck

One thing to check is to be sure that you are running against the same version of the class as the one you compiled against.
On a different track, you may also be able to get the info you are looking for in a container-generic manner with a call to servletContext.getServerInfo().

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
