Hi guys,
How do I go about writing a JSP page where I can upload files from my local hard drive using <input type="file"> html tag to the server?
thanks,
Alex

All right brain, you don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this one thing so I can get back to killing you with beer.<br /> <br />- Homer Simpson

This topic has been discussed many time across the Servlets, JSP and HTML forums. Have you looked through these topics? What aspect of it has you stumped?
Hint: search for terms like: 'upload' and 'multipart request'.

Btw, uploading files using the file control has nothing at all to do with FTP, so your topic subject is rather misleading. You might want to consider changing it to something more akin to what you are asking.
