Hi,
I would like to know if there is a difference between:

and

assumed I search for a bean named messageBean in the session scope.
I've noticed that Jasper translates the jsp actions - when instanciating a bean- with the first version.
For me, the two syntaxe are strictly equivalent.
Am I right in saying this?
