Thread Life Span in JSP

Is a thread invoked in a JSP life span is until the JSP Page is active or does it become independent of JSP after invocation.

the answer to what I think your asking is that the Thread still exists once the JSP page ends. However watch out if your creating new threads on every call to a JSP
