Hello: I have no knowledge of JSP. Now I would like to learn JSP 2.0. Do I need to learn JSP first (or JSP 1.2)? Are there any good websites or books to start learning JSP 2.0? Thanks a lot!
actually its not quite a cross-post seeing as though in the Servlets forum she asked about learning more about Servlet 2.4... and here in JSP she's asking about the new JSP spec. -- but anyway. If you'd like to learn about both in one slick book check out Core Servlets & JavaServer Pages, 2nd Edition by Marty Hall I used the 1st edition to learn the old spec -- and it was great. Marty comes by the Ranch pretty often too -- so you might even get some help from the man himself! As for specific JSP books check out Pro JSP by Simon Brown et. al. enjoy!
