Hi,
I have a jsp say test.jsp.
correspondingly I have a test.js javascript file.my jsp gets some input field values from database when loaded.i want to store these values in the test.js before the user changes them.and then compare with the values the user changed them to.how do I do it.

If you want help you might start with using a more descriptive topic to your messages.
To get the data available to your javascript take a look at Javascript arrays which you can get generated using the c:forEach tag from JSTL easily.

A search of the term "JSTL" in this forum alone yielded over 3 dozen results. There are lots of people here who are more than willing to help you out, but we're not going to do your work for you. Please make at least a minimum effort on your own.
