Problem with recognizing the class files

Hi guys,
I am using Tomcat 4.1, I have a JSP page, within the page, I have a scriplet which need to get an object from a Vector, the object belongs to a class I develop on my own. Therefore inorder to call the methods of the class I had to cast the object to that class. I already stored the class file in the classes subdirectory in the WEB-INF directory. However, when I run the page, I will get an error saying that it cannot recognize my class type..... can anyone give me some clue. I have similar problem before, but that is because I missed out the import statement......... but for this time I already put the class file in the right place....... thanks for any help can offer!

You show us no code, and no error message. All we can do is guess.
And my guess is that that you have not placed the class in a non-default package.
