I've written a java code, where I'm reading an excel sheet and transferring the data to the database. I am using jxl api for reading excel sheet. I've downloaded jexcel from net.

When I'm importing the package in our normal java class, it is working fine. But when I'm trying the same code in jsp, it is not able locate the package, inspite of importing the package in page tag.

Can anyone help me???

Just copy jxl.jar file to your WEB-INF of tomcat or copy jxl.jar file to %JAVA_HOME%/lib folder and set classpath as tool.jar file is required for tomcat to understand Java coding
