diff betwn Java BEan and Taglib

hello guys,
can anyone of u just tell me the difference between java Bean and i know that both of them are reusable components.apart from that what other specific funtionality does they differ.

Hi Mahesh,

You can find that in many JSP/J2EE books. Here are few, (as I remember) from Hanumant Deshmukh's book:

1. Beans are data handler used for storage, tags are used for computational/presentation logics.
2. Tags are thread safe, beans are not.(developer has to make it thread safe)
3.Tags can access JSP environment context, beans can not. (Pagecontext etc)
4. Tags can access implicit objects, beans can not.

You can find many more in other books.
