a problem only on the server

Hi all,
I really really need your help.
I have created a website NETBEANS and the TOMCAT server.
the site has several HTML pages and two JSP pages.

My problem is that on my local machine everything works great,
but after I have uploaded my files to the server at my college (with Resin)
I cannot access the JSP pages.
I get a "action cancled" msg or "page cannot be displayed" msg.

all of my JSP and HTML files are in a "public_html" directory and all of the are in a package residing in "public_html/WEB-INF/classes".
plus - I full rwx permissions for all users to every directory/file which resides below the "public_html" including itself.

can anyone spot the problem -
I am really desperate...
