Hi All,
I'm trying to write an EL test Expression as follows:

But the JSP page just spits back the following error:
An exception occured trying to convert String "pageCount.count" to type "java.lang.Double"

Why does it need to convert it to a Double?

If I do the following:

It tells me:
An exception occured trying to convert String "startNumber" to type "java.lang.Long"

What do I need to do to get this to work?
Thanks for any help you can give me on this one.

Why are you quoting pageCount.count and startNumber? That makes them string literals rather than scoped variable references.

??

(Still, doesn't work, but maybe it's more along the right lines.???)
