Hi ,

i am doing code walkthrough of an web application , in that i found an index.html & index.jsp files having same code .

my doubt is why we need to have another file with same and having jsp extension.

its really annoying me ,

pls help me

Maybe the original authors didn't know how to configure the welcome-file-list.
We can only guess.
