i have to download a file from the server which is csv file but my client needs not to display the dialog box during the download how can it be done?

If the client has an application registered with the browser to handle csv files (like Excel) you can use the "inline" keyword with the Content-Disposition tag to have the browser open the document in an embedded instance of that application.

If the browser doesn't have anything registered, then the only thing it can do is prompt the user for more instruction.

Thank you.. i've tried it but what actually i wanted was to save the file in the client's machine .but that seems impossible with my knowledge in java.Is there any way?
