how can i run a client side exe from the jsp file.
is it possible?

It is not possible.
The makers of the browsers work very hard to make sure you can't do this.
Whenever they fail, it's called a security hole.
When this happens, they issue a patch as soon as possible to make sure this hole is plugged.
