IE hanging

I have the following situation:
- i have a main jsp-page with my own tag
- this tag is iterating over a collection and for each object in the collection another jsp-page is included in the main jsp-page. this other jsp-page contains nothing more than a table with some getters called --> so end result is for each object in a collection a table with some info about this object.

i tried the jsp on my pc (1.6 ghz and 512 MB RAM) with 4 objects in the collection and it worked without any problem.
Then i tried it on a server (3.2 ghz and 3 GB RAM) with 86 objects in this collection and then the following happens:
- i call the struts-action, the collection is made and then forward = the main jsp-page
- i put a debug-message in my own tag, to see if it's iterating and i get for each object a message that it's processed
- when all objects are processed the popup window that i opened on an initial size (before i called the struts-action) and has to contain the main jsp-page, is enlarged to another size (what does mean that the page is loaded into explorer, because in the body-onload of the main jsp-page the size is adjusted)
- but then the popup-window is hanging and the only thing i can do is shutting it down with the task manager

all ideas or tips to solve this problem, are appreciated
