Master Detail form in JSP

My existing application in client server has master Detail form. I played around with Jdeveloper and that can be done with a few mouse clicks. But,
I am looking to do that with basic JSP or using struts etc. The biggest problem is that HTML form is a stateless object so if you want to add a record one needs to refresh and put the cursor at the last field of multi-row table. Is all this built-in in some freeware Beans etc or there is an easy way of doing these kinds of things. I have not seen any example of JSP in any book where I have one-many relations in tables etc.

Any ideas on implementations? Thanks.
