Hello All,

I am having 3+ year of exp in Java and I have successfully lead many projects in Java.

I am good at Design Pattern and I applied them while developing the solution.

Now my company wants me to architect a module of a project that will be developed using ASP .NET technologies. I have to only architect the solution and nothing to do with the coding.

I dont know anything in ASP .NET.

My question is that the way Design Patterns applied in Java, Does they apply in a same manner to ASP .Net?

Am I the right person to design the architecture in .Net framework?

I am NOT going to decide technologies.

Reg,
Chetan

NOTE: I am not able to decide, in which forum I should put this question. Hence I put here. Sorry if this doesnt belong to this forum.

My blood is tested +ve for Java.

Since you seem to be mostly concerned with the applicable design patterns, I have moved this to the patterns forum.
