Hi pop,

Which version are you using now? In tomcat 5.0, you should put in the following location.

Tomcat 5.0\webapps\servlets-examples\WEB-INF\classes

You don't put .java files in Tomcat.

You need to compile your source files into .class files.
To learn where to put your class files, read this:
http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-5.5-doc/class-loader-howto.html

This is essentially part of the same question that you asked here. Please continue discussion in that thread.
