Hi,

I know this is very basic doubt. But I am having confusion with these.

What is Web Server, Web Container and Application Server?
What are the main differences between Web Server, Web Container and Application Server?
Give example for each?

How Web Container is differ from Web Server and Application server?

Hope some one will clarify my doubt.

This gets asked a lot. Search through this and Servlets forum (and perhaps Tomcat) for your answer.
