I am new to jsp. I need to write a page which has a link. On selecting that link, it will call a jsp which has javascript such that it will print the User Agent of the client.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
