Hi All,
I am J2EE resource with around 4 yrs of experience...

Now planing for a change..as J2EE market has picked up really well in last 6 months....and i think i am not drawing a very decent package..need to bring myself to a level which mathces the industry standards..

Can anyone suggest what salary one can expect in India...i am asking it particularly because i think i got cheated by my company when i joined them 9 months back..

For four years of experience in JAVA/J2EE ( if you are from a reputed company) you should be able to command at least 45K-50K per month i.e. around 5.5L-6.0L gross per annum.

You should definitely ask for at least 6L/pa. I know ppl with 2+ years exp here getting 4.8 L/pa (OK they show 3 yeras exp, still...)

{
they show 3 yeras exp,
}
I think this is the problem everywhere in India.People work for 2/3 months ,and show 9-12 months of exp. on resume.Problem recruiters/HR Managers also run behind them.As companies can hire 6 people for 1 man at international price,everything goes smoothly.

Hi,

I have an experience of around 2 yrs 4 months. and working for a SEiCMM Level 5 company in Noida from last around 10-11 months. But the thing is I passed out MCA in 2003 and I started up Job before that in May 2002. and I was a full time employee to the company in my last year as we are given this much relaxation in college in our last year which is mostly on the Job.

What do u guys say how much should I settle with in presnt market scenario. and Specifically If i take CTS what should they offer me.

Thanks,
Rahul Juneja

I think if you get anything in between 3L to 3.8L you should accept it. I also think Noida and anglre companies pay more tahn Pune companies. Banglore definitely is much higher.
