not Persisting values after coming back to a link

Hi all,

in a jsp page I am using one table consisting of links and text boxes.if I enter some values in text boxes and then clicks on any link.
on this new page there is a link for previous page .but when I am clicking on that link the values i had previously entered in text boxex are not persist.Please tell me how to persist these values.

When you render the first page a second time, does your code fill in those values? The second page needs to pass those values along to the first page, possibly in a Java bean. Then there needs to be some code in the first page that checks whether those values are there, and pre-fill the fields with them.

You can better use Java bean as Ulf suggested or use Session to store the values.
