I would like to use the JSTL (Java Standard Tab library) within
some JSPs.
I am slightly confused by the two (at least!) sources for such libraries.

http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/jstl/downloads/index.html
lists both
- Java WSDP 1.4 (from Sun)
- Jakarta Taglibs Standard 1.0 tag library

Are these different implementations of the JSTL architecture. Are there
any gotchas in using either of them?

Cheers

JSTL is a standard, so there can be multiple implementations.

The Sun package comes with a bunch of other stuff. The Jakarta package is just the JSTL.

I've been using the Jakarta implementation with no problems.
