You can maintain logs using filter.

how can we do maintaining logs using filters ,can u explain eloborately.

You will have to read up on filters. What you want to do is associate a filter with a particular reesource (servlet/JSP), and have that filter increment a count and log it whenever the resource is accesed.

You can also achieve this without using a filter, by having the resource itself do the logging.
