how do i go about writing a code for tranferring funds???
wht are the neccessary tables needed?

You need to provide more details in order for people to know what it is exactly you are trying to achieve. I am assuming you are talking about transfering funds from one account to the other.

yes i am transfering funds from one acc to another.
i have a database which have all the customer info including uid, acc num and the balance..
i need a form to transfer funds from my acc to another acc which the user have to type in.
the balance in my acc have to minus the $ i transfer and the acc i transfer to have to add up.

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.
