I have a Bean class with a property (say "myPack.account")

I have a JSP page with a TextField (say form.jsp with action="process.jsp")

then in process.jsp page, i have

Tomcat giving an exception ::
Cannot find any information on property 'sACC_NO' in a bean of type myPack.account

is it because of the naming convention i have used?

Yes, getProperty will look for either getXxx or isXXX methods.

By the way: your hunch was good.
Wouldn't it have been quicker to try coding to convention to see if that fixed the problem than to write to a forum and wait for an answer?
