Is there any limit specified for a JSP page to compile in servlet.. At one point of time, I faced this kind of problem where JSP engine was unable to compile JSP as the page exceeded the limit of JSP page to compile. Is there any solution for this. Thanks in advance.

WHAT ADMIN SERVER ARE YOU USING?
IF WAS(Websphere App Server) 5.0 THEN YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

GO TO APPLICATION SERVERS
SELECT YOUR SERVER
IN THAT CLICK ON THE PROCESS DEFINITION LINK
IN THAT CLICK ON THE JAVA VIRTUAL MACHINE LINK
IN THAT GO TO THE BOTTOM AND CLICK ON THE CUSTOM PROPERTIES LINK
IN THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE A PROPERTY com.sun.tools.javac.main.largebranch . SET IT TO TRUE.
IF YOU DONT HAVE THIS PROPERTY CREATE A NEW ONE AND SET IT TO TRUE.

HOPE THIS HELPS

Posts in all caps are hard to read and could be construed as "shouting" which is rather rude. I know that was not your intention...

And hey.. .forgot to tell you another useful thing... You can even compress your Jsps. By compressing i mean removing all the unneeded whitespaces of tabs and line feeds...
this will considerably reduce the size of ure Jsps. You have tools available for the same.

While that's an interesting observation, it doesn't have anything to do with the subject of this topic.

In fact it does... compressing reduces the sizes of the jsps... WAS has a limit on the size of the jsp in kbs... it does not compile the jsp if it exceeds the size. So removing whitespaces(trust me!! they do occupy quite an amount of ure jsp size) does help in reducing ure jsp size.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
