hi,
i need to know how to create a tree menu in jsp that allows to display info in a hirarchial way and supports click events ie it should allow to open jsp pages on clicking leaf nodes.

secondly i want to know a simple and effective logout mechanism when i click a link in a left frame i need the browser to be closed completelt is it possible???

I'd suggest using one of the free or nearly free JavaScript Tree packages out there such as treeview or WebFX Xtree. With both of these packages, you can translate your java hierarchical model into JavaScript code that will produce an expandable and collapseable tree.
